Professor Yuval Shahar holds advanced degrees in Medicine, Computer Science, and Medical Informatics. After a decade at Stanford University, he moved to Ben Gurion University to found and head its Medical Informatics Research Center, and chaired for several years its Software and Information Systems Engineering department. His research focuses on temporal reasoning, temporal data mining, automated therapy, and decision analysis. His work was applied mostly in biomedical domains, as well as in homeland security and information security.
In 1995, Prof. Shahar was a recipient of the NIH FIRST 5-year career award. In 2005, he won an IBM Faculty Award, and in 2008, an HP Worldwide Innovation Program award. He was elected in 2005 as an International Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI), and in 2017, as a Founding Member of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (IAHSI), a part of the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA), Since 2014, Prof. Shahar is the Josef Erteschik Chair in Information Systems Engineering at Ben Gurion University.

Prof. Almoznino is an Associate Professor at the Hebrew University. She is a Biostatistician Epidemiologist and Oral Medicine specialist. Dr. She serves as the Head, Big Biomedical Data Research Laboratory, and as the Head of the Orofacial Sensory Clinic as well as the Taste and Smell Clinic, Department of Oral Medicine Sedation & Maxillofacial Imaging, Hebrew University-Hadassah School of Dental Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel. She is the past President of the Israel Society of Oral Medicine (ISOM) (2017-2018) and a member of the Hadassah Medical Center Institutional Review Board. Dr. Almoznino is a member of the Board of Examiners in Oral Medicine Specialty in Israel. She is a member of the Hebrew University Center for Research on Pain, a roof organization uniting several research laboratories and clinics of the Hebrew University.
Dr. Almoznino is involved in Big Biomedical Data Research at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University/Hadassah. She received several grants to work with large digital datasets, in the fields of autoimmune conditions (mobile health project) as well as analyzing oral morbidity and associations with systemic morbidity (EMR-based project). Dr. Almoznino established the first large-scale EMR-based study in dentistry in Israel entitled:" The Dental, Oral, Medical Epidemiological (DOME) study". This project is aimed to analyze dental morbidity and its associations with systemic morbidity. Dr. Almoznino is a graduate of the Hebrew University/Hadassah, where she graduated with a D.M.D (Doctorate in Dental Medicine) degree in 1996.
Dr. Almoznino also completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at the Hebrew University/Hadassah (Oral microbiology, thesis supervisor: Prof. Doron Steinberg, the head, of Biofilm Research Laboratory).
She completed Summa cum laude and M.H.A (Master of Health Administration) degree at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. In 2007, she completed a recognized specialty training in Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain at the Hebrew University/Hadassah and was certified as an Oral Medicine Specialist. Dr. Almoznino also completed Summa cum Claude an MPH degree (Epidemiology and Biostatistics stream).
From 2007-2015, Dr. Almoznino served as the Head of the Department of Oral Medicine, at Tel-Hashomer, Israel, a multi-disciplinary Oral Medicine Department, which serves as a secondary referral center for Oral Medicine, receiving referrals from local general medical and dental practitioners throughout the country.

Dr. Peleg is the head of the Rheumatology Unit, at Hadassah Ein Karem, Jerusalem, Israel.
Dr. Peleg completed a B.Sc. degree in Physics and Mathematics, cum laude, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel in 1989. She completed her M.D degree from the Hebrew University Faculty of Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel in 1995. Dr. Peleg was a Research Fellow in Clinical Pharmacology, Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Stanford University (1998-2001). Dr. Peleg Actively participates in the Israeli Society of rheumatology contribution to the rheumatology fellowship final written test (part A ), serves as an examiner in the oral rheumatology fellowship final test ( part B ) and she is a presenter in the fellowship final preparation course. Dr. Peleg received the Dean of medicine honor for teaching and contribution to training medical students (2018).

Eldad Ben-Chetrit (born December 29, 1949) is a professor of Medicine, former Head of the Department of Medicine and former director of the Rheumatology unit (2009-2017) at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem.[1] He was a visiting professor at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (1996), at the Biochemistry Department, Stanford University (2004), and at the Gaslini Children Hospital (Istituto Giannina Gaslini), University of Genoa, Italy, and the Tropical Medicine Clinic, University of Heidelberg, Germany (2016).

Earning his Ph.D from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, In Information System engineering department, he has more than 10 years of experience Research, Business, Innovation, and Product in the area of Digital Health and ICT: as co-founder CTO and product manager in an industry digital health start-up he manages the IT strategy, and the cloud architecture of the product. As consultant and professional evaluator of Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) I performed evaluations and due-diligence and approve budgets of funding requests from industry in the area of digital health and as a senior research manager in the medical Informatics research center in Ben Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) he manages different scientific projects in the area of digital health. He also has experience in international research initiatives such as the FP7 7M EU project in which he managed the BGU group, called “MobiGuide” for developing telemedicine, mobile-based remote patient management system. Erez teaches a Master course in BGU on “Clinical Decision Support Systems” showing the state-of-the-art of CDSS, and how to develop and implement them, and developed unique cloud platform courses for students in BGU.
